About EQUAL EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST

  Summary You will serve as an EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY (EEO) SPECIALIST in the Affirmative Employment Program (AEP), EEO Northwest Office, Department of USPACFLT EEO PROGRAM MANAGEMENT. Responsibilities You will serve as expert and advisor on all AEP matters supporting annual Model EEO program assessments, development of AEP plans, and barrier identification and elimination in accordance with EEOC's Directives, DON, and command guidelines. You will serve as subject matter expert in alternative dispute techniques (ADR), complaints processing management, and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program initiatives. You will analyze basis and root causes of discrimination complaints, identify trends and develop recommended approaches to prevent and resolve/settle complaints. You will use databases to track various components such as ADR usage, resolution rates, and demographics. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-12: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector establishing priorities and direction, and analyzing and recommending solutions to problems that adversely affect EEO and Affirmative Employment (such as conducting trends analysis, assisting with barrier analysis and/or parts of the MD-715). GS-11: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector ensuring compliance with applicable equal employment guidance (EEOC), performing data analysis and/or supporting Special Emphasis Program(s).
