Prior fabrication experience is a plus.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesExperience in Door Fabrication (2 years plus), fabricate doors and door frames from aluminum extrusions.Inspecting aluminum for various quality flawsUsage of drill guns, saws and hand toolsCapable of following verbal and written instructionsMust adhere to all safety rulesRegular and predictable attendance, ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your jobRequirementsAbility to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively read a tape measure to 1/32Ability to use a hand pallet and/or motorized pallet jackMust be able to work with powered hand toolsMust be able to drill and counter-sink holesAbility to read written instructions and take verbal instructionsAbility to work with co-workers and supervisors with good teamwork skillsMust be able to work overtime as neededAll production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of productionHigh School Diploma or GED, preferredPrevious fabrication experience requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, lift, bend, twist, walk, and reach frequentlyBe able to stand on concrete surface wearing metatarsal work boots up to 12 hours a dayMust be able to do repetitive motions (drilling, cleaning, and application of fasteners)Ability to grasp and squeeze small parts and large itemsAbility to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular basisAbility to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.)Ability to work in extreme temperaturesPrior work experience in the curtain wall industry and the commercial construction industry is a plus.
