　　Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services/ Custodial Operations Manager 1 to join Sodexo at Monroe School District in Monroe, OH. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on student’s lives while working within a community-driven educational environment. This is a second shift management position, the hours will be 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM Monday through Friday.

　　Our Sodexo Environmental Services/Custodial teams work to direct custodial operations at Schools/k-12 client locations, partnering with them to deliver innovative solutions. These teams also have responsibility for driving client satisfaction by providing stellar customer service via effective communication with all levels of staff, as well as follow-through with action items that impact both client and student satisfaction. 　　The successful candidate will have:

　　Prior Environmental Service/Housekeeping /Custodial/Janitorial experience, preferably 5 years. Within a school district preferred not required;

　　Strong, proven communication skills and comfortability speaking with students, as well as administration and board members;

　　Experience with Ecolab products is preferred;

　　Excellent customer service skills along with coaching, mentoring, and team building;

　　Experience using work order systems and comfortability with Microsoft Suites;

　　Must be available to work the following hours - 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

　　An organized and hands-on leadership style will drive positive daily results while balancing and prioritizing service needs.

　　Reporting directly to the Director of Facilities Operations your responsibilities will include:

　　Managing a team of 14 employees;

　　Filling in for custodians when necessary;

　　Assisting with ensuring a safe working environment throughout campus for students and employees;

　　Operates vehicles with safe work practices and caution;

　　Works to ensure satisfaction in areas of housekeeping services, waste removal, and campus event set-up and tear-down;

　　Understanding of Custodial equipment including but not limited to wet/dry vacuums, extractors, buffers, sprayers, auto scrubbers, and electric carts;

　　Hiring, training, and corrective action of employees;

　　Demonstrating a willingness to perform at a high level in a diverse team environment.
