Job Responsibilities: Develop/manageenvironmental permitting, compliance, reporting (air, water, waste,chemical reporting) Manage regulatory agency relationships Drive theoperational implementation of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS)strategies and initiatives Monitor regulatory developments Provideguidance/support to all locations Develop/deliver EHS training Develop,negotiate and manage environmental permits, consent orders andcorrective actions with legal counsel Field work at operating facilitiesto ensure compliance and identify/correct gaps Serve as EHS SubjectMatter Expert and coach other Direct EHS emergency response activitiesOther duties assigned by his/her direct report Job Requirements: ValidDriver\'s License and ability to pass pre-employment driver\'s file BSEnvironmental Engineering/Chemistry/Biology/Compliance OR related fieldor equivalent and 3+ years full-time EHS experience Experience in thetire/rubber industry preferred CHMM , HAZWOPER , PE or other relatedcertifications preferred Preferred Skills: Ethical leader with abilityto evaluate, plan, implement and influence change throughout theorganization Expertise in environmental disciplines (air, water, waste,chemical reporting, permitting) Exceptional communicator who generatesconfidence and trust within the organization and external representativefor the Company Environmental project management (project scope,consultant interaction, budget management) Must possess a strongstrategic orientation-balances time and resources to drive longer-termstrategies.
