Bachelor's Degree in environmental science, safety, chemical,engineering or related degree
Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing related environment, health, andsafety experience including the following:
Managing all site waste streams
Determining hazardous materials transportation regulations requirements andshipping
Identifying hazards, assessing risk and provide options to eliminate orminimize the hazards/risks.
Proven ability to interpret EHS data and take action
Experience writing clear and concise site EHS programs
Experience performing EHS gap assessments and the ability to prioritizefindings
Experience creating (or modifying existing training) and conductingtraining in regulatory compliance topics appropriate to the region and jobscope in EHS
As a Environmental Health and Safety Engineer, you will:
Arrange for and ensure the precise collection and calculation of allenvironmental/safety data across the sites and create, finalize and submitregulatory reports. Monitor process owners to assure compliance proceduresassociated with afore mentioned reports are being implemented and maintained.Example data is: biological, radiation, chemical, noise, exhaustsystems, emissions, waste characteristics, etc.
Identify hazards and analyze the risks associated with hazards across bothsites' operations.
Create or modify EHS procedures and audit programs to help the site manage andlower its hazards/risks.
Create, maintain and deliver EHS training programs to assure applicableparties are traipractices.
Review and interpret EHS regulations affecting the site and propose optionsthat will assist with the creation and implementation of compliant processesand procedures.
Provide the employees/supervisors guidance that develops compliantsolutions, new techniques and opportunities for process improvements.
Implement, complete and take action to help ensure regulatory permitrequirements, reporting data and EHS management system procedures arecontinuously monitored and updated a maintain compliance.
Support emergency response activities and be capable to lead the team.Expected to be on-call for emergencies.
Interface with regulatory agencies relative to EHS inspections, inquiriesand associated corrective action plans then follows up on concerns /findings identified.
Complete all required submissions for internal and external EHS requests(ex. ESG energy usage, OSHA reporting, etc.)
Support the Site EHS Manager and Corporate EHS Management and work inconjunction with other site EHS team members as needed.

Salary Range:The base pay range for this opportunity is $76,981- $135,408 per year. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary
