Entry-Level Chemist – Kansas City, MO

　　Details:

　　Direct Hire

　　Full-time 8am – 5pm Mon - Friday

　　Pay: $40,000.00 per year

　　Responsibilities:

　　Perform in-process, stability, and finished product testing

　　Inspect and test in-coming, in-process, and end products and materials

　　Communicate with Production about required adjustments.

　　Monitor and maintain laboratory supply inventory.

　　Perform testing, make calculations to analyze data, and report results verbally and written.

　　Assist in product development, method development, and validation.

　　Maintain and laboratory equipment and areas

　　Assist Quality Assurance with document control, issuing batch production sheets, and inspections as needed.

　　Will need to:

　　Perform wet chemistry testing.

　　Analyze samples using Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometer.

　　Complete retain sample logs and deposit samples as needed.

　　Precisely weigh raw materials for production.

　　Inspect, test, label, and release materials timely for production

　　Requirements:

　　Associate's Degree or Higher in Chemistry or related science field

　　Not allergic to iodine.

　　Math skills, reasoning skills, and ability to communicate well with others.

　　Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS), methods, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and batch sheets.

　　Quality oriented, organizational, and time management skills.

　　Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
