Transportation Engineer

　　Job Description:

　　Entry level transportation engineer. This position will include hands-on training across all phases of transportation engineering. Candidates will used Civil 3d and Open Roads to do roadway design. Candidates will also learn all phases of roadway project management.

　　Preparing roadway, drainage, MOT, traffic and right of way plans, design calculations, reports, quantities, and cost estimates

　　Assist with design/develop various types of rural and urban roadway/highway improvement projects

　　Assist with all aspects of municipal design (drainage, waterline, sanitary)

　　Prepare preliminary/detailed design plans quantities specifications and construction cost estimates

　　Assist with Request for Information during construction phase

　　Creating maps and graphics for reports

　　Assisting with field surveys
