Anchor QEA is seeking afull-time engineer to support our expanding site characterization /remediation activities. We are interested in a candidate that has thecapacity to grow, is a quick learner, is detail-orientated, is acommitted team player, and possesses strong written and verbalcommunication skills. This position will support environmentalengineering projects involving upland and in-water sediment fieldinvestigations, feasibility studies and remedy design, source controlevaluations, water quality assessments and compliance, and constructionoversight. Successful candidates will have an opportunity to work on avariety of tasks of differing complexities, both independently and inteam environments, learning directly from leaders in the industry.Responsibilities: Develop technical project work for small tomedium-sized single-disciplined or multi-disciplined projects. Projectexamples include site characterization, hazardous waste/sedimentremediation, environmental baseline assessments, environmental impacts,stormwater and drinking water compliance. Assist with preparation ofsampling and analysis plans, remedial investigation and feasibilitystudy reports, and design documents, including technical specifications.Assist with preparation of engineer\'s cost estimates and constructionschedules for designs. Task management, including team assignments andcoordination, client interaction, and production of deliverables.Develop construction planning documents and provide constructionobservations and management support. What Are We Looking For? Idealcandidates will have the following: BS or MS degree in relevantengineering field (civil, environmental, chemical) 2 to 4 years ofrelevant work experience as an Environmental, Remediation, or CivilEngineer conducting environmental investigations under CERCLA, RCRA,NEPA, CAA, CWA. Experience planning and implementing field sampling,data analysis, feasibility studies, and remedial design. Strongunderstanding of the application of engineering principles toengineering design, including cost estimating, development of plans andspecifications, development of bid packages, development of dredgeplans, and overseeing design implementation in the field (i.e.,construction management). Ability to pursue Professional Engineering(PE) licensure after requisite experience is obtained. Proficiency in MSOffice. AutoCAD Civil 3D experience a plus.
