Des Moines Public Schools is seeking Enrichment Coaches for our Metro Kids Program during the 23-24 SY!Job Summary:Assist the Enrichment Leader and/or Before & After School Specialist with providing a safe, secure and structured after school environment, while demonstrating positive behavior management techniques.Available Locations:(2) Capitol View Elementary(2) Cowles * AM hours *(1) Greenwood Elementary(2) Hanawalt Elementary(1) Jefferson Elementary(2) McKinley Elementary - High School students are encouraged to apply(1) Morris Elementary - High School students are encourged to apply(3) Perkins Elementary - High School students are encouraged to apply(1) Riverwoods Elementary - High School students are encouraged to apply(1) Windsor Elementary - High School students are encouraged to applyHiring requirements:Must be 16 years of ageAble to carry out duties cooperatively with othersEffective Oral and Written communication skillsHighly Qualified Candidates will possess:Successful work or volunteer experience with childrenSupervisory experience with school age childrenAbility to use computer technologyBilingualPosition Details:Part TimeHiring for Multiple Sites Monday-Friday (times vary between 1:30pm-5:30pm)Hiring at Cowles Monday-Friday AM (6:30am-8:30am)If offered a position, please note the offer is contigent based on being able to pass a background and fingerprint check as well as being able to complete a physical (which includes a Hep B test).
