Our Enhanced Behavioral Supports Technicians support adults with autism/other developmental disabilities and significant behavioral challenges to increase skills related to greater independence and community participation in the context of an established treatment plan.
Full and part time, non-exempt status positions. Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older, must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Preference to those with a Bachelor's degree with coursework in at least 2 college courses relating to child/adolescent development, applied behavior analysis, psychology of learning, education and/or communication disorders. Duties include: providing non-physical and physical management in accordance with support, emergency plans, and the Mental Health Code; applying appropriate engagement and de-escalation techniques as necessary to promote an enriched environment. teaching and supporting Individuals Served to complete tasks as independently as possible, such as personal hygiene, housekeeping, meal assistance, personal finance, social and leisure activities, safety skills for the home and community; and more.
Hourly wage begins at $19.34 to $20.91, adjusted for relevant education and experience.
