DESCRIPTION OF WORKYour role will involve actively participating in various technical tasks related to the inspection of materials and workmanship on transportation construction projects. The main objective is to ensure that the work complies with contract requirements and established standards and specifications. As part of your duties, you will be responsible for creating inspection checklists for each operation you oversee. This will involve conducting thorough research on the contract item using references such as Publication 408, multiple construction standards, special provisions, and other relevant materials. Additionally, you will provide assistance in inspecting all phases of transportation construction work, which may include verifying grades, elevations, structure stake-out, and roadway stake-out.

Full-time employmentWork hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunchTelework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in King of Prussia.Travel and overtime required as needed
