Our client who specializes in propulsion technology is hiring a hands on technician!
Description:
In this position you will be directly supporting turbomachinery and Aerospace parts at various stages of the manufacturing process starting from reverse engineering.
•This role will operate a scanning system to ensure and verify the quality of each component
•Responsible for creating a scan program, part fixture deployment and execution of defined inspection requirements
•Perform inspections of complex turbine parts
•Develop and maintain automated inspection programs
•Operate and maintain all lab equipment
•Establish efficient and cost-effective inspection methods
•Perform manual inspections of parts & tools
•Maintain calibration of all equipment & calibration artifacts
Qualifications:
Min 2 years experience operating scanning equipment
Min 2 years experience within turbine/aerospace industry
ITAR Compliant
Associates Degree
