　　Description:

　　• The technician will be responsible for the execution of a variety of component test types including low and high cycle fatigue, spin testing, ballistic impact, static load, thermal cyclic, and load/strain calibrations.

　　• Often the test applications are unique and require custom or one-off builds.

　　• Duties will include, but are not limited to, test rig assembly, test-frame preparation, strain gage / thermocouple installation, data system set-up and operation, electronic and mechanical system troubleshooting, and some fabrication.

　　• The technician will be committed to Environmental, Health and Safety compliance and assist in the development of advanced test techniques and processes.

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　• AA/AS degree in an engineering or technical field

　　• Knowledge of and experience with electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

　　• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and general computer skills.

　　Preferred Qualifications/ skills:

　　• 2+ years of relevant laboratory, repair / overhaul shop, mechanical testing experience

　　• Basic PLC programming experience

　　• Ability to read fabrication and installation prints / GD&T

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　AS degree in an engineering or technical field

　　2-10 years of hands-on experience

　　Experience build things- electro-mechanically

　　Ability to work within a team
