Position Summary:#LI-TR1The Engineering Reliability Standardization Manager is responsible to search, create and/or document standards for the processes of maintaining the equipment at BBU manufacturing facilities to improve its reliability.Processes standardization activities will focus on 3 areas of maintenance (People, operating system, and management infrastructure). While simultaneously shall provide leadership and support to company safety strategy and programs across BBU's facilities as well as support corporate maintenance training and education strategies.This position will act as a liaison with reliability regional leaders and engineering organization within BBU and international corporation.True influencing skills are critical for the success of this position. Key responsibilities include the development of the overall organizational strategy and subsequent implementation for broader support across the country.This position reports directly to the Vice President of Engineering and interacts with other corporate functions as well as with maintenance leaders at bakeries.Position could be based in based in the metropolitan area of Philadelphia or Dallas-FTW.Key Job Responsibilities:Responsible for creating documentation for standardizing the maintenance processes across BBU and link it to the corporate strategy. Work in coordination with Corporate Safety team to develop and implement strategies and plans to improve safety records in bakeries. Work in coordination with Corporate Engineering to implement improve reliability of assets. Work with regional reliability leaders to implement strategies. Support training and education plans for engineering/maintenance personnel. Perform functions related to Engineering work.All this work relates to:Computerized Maintenance Management Software.Preventive Maintenance Plans and scheduling.Failure root cause analysis.Training and development Plans for Maintenance AssociatesSpare Parts inventory and control.Develop content for BBU Maintenance playbook.Arc flash safetyFire preventionInjury PreventionLearning Management SystemPosition Requirements:
Education and Work History:Bachelor's degree in engineering or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience5 years of professional experience leading a maintenance organization.Knowledgeable of Electrical Safety (Energized Electrical Work, Arc Flash, NPFA 70E) and electrical safety. In some situations, acting as Subject Matter Expert for electrical safety and NFPA 70E compliance.Communication and collaboration skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior leaders and peers.Ability to effectively influence cross functional disciplines.Strong work ethic, flexibility and ability to multi-task required in fast-paced environment.The ability to understand and navigate through a truly matrix environment.Readiness to travel up to 50% of time between multiple BBU locations.International travel is possible.The physical and mental demands described in each job posting are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of each job.
