Toyon has opportunities for dynamic Engineering Physics Researchers to solve challenging real-world problems developing algorithms that combine engineering and physics principles to control autonomous air vehicles. These control algorithms include asset coordination, sensor coordination (e.g. Video, Radar), and electronics effects coordination (e.g. Passive sensing, electronic attack).
Qualified candidates will be capable of developing physics-based algorithms, modeling, and simulation. We use both classic algorithm methods (e.g. optimization techniques, Kalman Filters) and Artificial Intelligence (e.g. Reinforcement Learning, Machine Learning). We are looking for candidates trained as engineers, physicists, or applied mathematicians who enjoy working with algorithms. Experience working in a collaborative environment with configuration management and version control tools is also desired.
