Minimum qualifications:

　　Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience.

　　8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript). 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role. Preferred qualifications: 2 years of experience with large-scale Android, other mobile application, or full stack development.

　　Responsibilities

　　Lead a team of engineers and build a high performing team with a local Technical Program Manager and Product Manager. Contribute directly to top level Android priority, GenAI, and Compute.

　　Execute Android's compute strategy and enable more ML to run on GPU. Work closely with vendors in the UK, USA, and APAC to ensure alignment for all new shipping Android devices.

　　Help Android migrate the ecosystem from older GPU APIs (GLES) to newer ones (Vulkan, WebGPU). Ensure modern GPU techniques are possible on Android to attract the best graphics and the most efficient compute.

　　Build tools and infrastructure to report quality issues in the ecosystem and get them fixed by chipset vendors.
