　　Responsibilities

　　The Mayo Clinic Special Purpose Processor Development Group (SPPDG) is seeking electrical engineering students interested in a co-op position to gain familiarity with various research and development (R&D) activities. The Special Purpose Processor Development Group (SPPDG) is a research group within Mayo Clinic, comprised of microelectronics hardware and software engineers to support its design, analysis, and testing efforts. As part of this R&D team, the candidate would perform fundamental microelectronic engineering functions by applying technical knowledge and experience to perform basic engineering tasks using state-of-the-art computerized tools. The candidate would work under close supervision, with plans and completed assignments reviewed by Supervisor or senior technical group members. Anticipated length of the co-op position is from May through December (summer and fall semester).

　　Qualifications

　　The incumbent must be enrolled in an electrical engineering program from an accredited college or university and have completed a minimum of four semesters – or the equivalent – of instruction toward their degree.

　　Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Must be US citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee.
