  What will you do:

  As a Construction Engineering Intern at KLJ, you will play a vital role in supporting our construction projects and gaining valuable experience in the field. This internship is designed to provide you with a well-rounded understanding of construction engineering, and project management, and the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting.

  Project Support: Collaborate with our project teams to assist in the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. Gain exposure to various stages of project development, from initial design to project closeout.Site Inspections: Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, ensuring work follows plans and specifications. Document and report findings to project managers.Technical Analysis: Assist in analyzing construction plans, specifications, and engineering drawings. Participate in value engineering discussions to optimize project outcomes.Safety: Learn and practice safety protocols and guidelines on construction sites. Promote and maintain a safe work environment for all team members.Documentation: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including project schedules, and progress reports.Problem Solving: Work closely with experienced engineers to identify and address construction challenges. Develop innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency.Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure smooth project coordination.What's required of you:

  Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Strong work ethic and an understanding that there will be long hours and long days with the possibility of working weekends.Desire to learn and grow in the industry.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Basic knowledge of construction processes and principles (preferred but not required).Why Intern with Us:
