Roles and Responsibilities
Execute assigned technology maturation projects
Perform required simulations to design and optimize additive process parameters
Post process simulation results according to requirements
Create components preliminary design to perform case study activities
Develop simulations and tests results databases
Use lessons learnt to provide feedback to improve and/or align existing Design Practices (DPs) and methods
Present in technical and project reviews
Stay up to date with state-of-the-art technology and knowledge in the filed of additive manufacturing.
Lead and/or participate in new products introduction, process performance improvement, cost reduction and problem solving activities.
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks are consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Support development of process monitoring tools and dashboards
Support cooperation with external project partners
Required Qualifications
Engineering degree in mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited University
Strong knowledge of theory of plasticity; Additive Manufacturing experience would be a plus
Experience in Ansys Workbench non-linear, multibody simulations
Experience with programming languages (i.e. Matlab/Python)
Knowledge of key aeronautical engines layout, architecture, and mechanical systems arrangements
Fluent English, written and spoken
The ability to work in international team
The ability to produce clear, concise reports and other documentation, of appropriate quality
