　　Rockwell Collins Inc. d/b/a Collins Aerospace has an opening for an Engineer II, Systems Engineering in Cedar Rapids, IA. This is a hybrid position that requires working onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA at least 3 days per week and allows working remotely from home up to 2 days per week.

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　Works on multiple projects to assist in the technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluating alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems.

　　Performs analyses at all levels of total system product including: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.

　　Conducts engineering processes using standard work, including verification and qualification procedures.

　　Synthesize analyses of data, and uses the results to prepare technical reports of findings and recommendations.

　　Seeks to identify possible problems presented in applicable projects that may cause a delay or exceed budget.

　　Contributes to finding appropriate solutions.

　　Required Qualifications:

　　Must possess a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field and at least 2 years of experience as an Embedded Systems Engineer or related role. In the alternative, at least a master’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field would be acceptable.

　　Demonstrable experience with capturing and analyzing customer requirements

　　Demonstrable experience decomposing customer requirements into clear system and subsystem architecture/requirements

　　Demonstrable experience coordinating development tasks across multiple subsystem functional areas

　　Demonstrable experience performing system integration testing

　　Demonstrable experience developing system operation and requirement-based test cases and procedures

　　The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
