Primary Responsibilities:
Conducts tests and performs debugs of control and diagnostic systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
Conducts disciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems and commercial software.
Measures and analyzes software designs for equipment/products to ensure current and future needs of the business are met.
Builds and implements procedures that are used to support hardware and software product development and functions.
Operates equipment and computer systems for testing and software design purposes to facilitate operations and ensure that established objectives are achieved.
Required Qualifications:
At least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related role
At least 2 years of experience with an Object-Oriented programming language such as C, C++ or Ada
At least 2 years of experience with embedded software development and verification
At least 2 years of experience with avionics
The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
