Job Description:
This Engineer must use Engineering/Technical skills and knowledge of engineering/scientific concepts, procedures, standards, and industry awareness to maintain multi-systems and programs, in order to identify and resolve EHS issues on the second shift. This individual will ensure compliance with Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Ergonomics National/International requirements. Job duties:
Maintain and audit Fatality Prevention programs compliance (Control of Hazardous Energies, Electrical Safety, Confined Spaces and Fall Protection).
Participate and support investigations of EHS incidents/accidents .
Conduct plant EHS self-assessments.
Create and maintain Fire Protection and Life Safety systems programs.
Ensure compliance with National EHS requirements (Occupational Health Committee meetings, Emergencies and Occupational Health Plan regularly updated, others).
Deliver EHS trainings to MVCR employees and contractor workers.
Execute Work permits and Ergo-assessments.
Support Industrial Hygiene tasks for Chemical Exposure, Noise and Lighting.
Maintain the Stretching Program.
Coordinate and support site brigade trainings, drills, practices, equipment required, others.
Coordinate Safety and Personal Protective equipment purchases and delivery to employees.
Participate and support Business Continuity Plan.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in EHS studies from an accredited university.
Two to five (1-3) years of Environmental, Health and Safety experience.
Proficient computer skills.
Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
English level 60%
Desired Qualifications
Detail oriented with strong prioritization and organization skills.
Ability to work closely with Supervisors and Production employees.
Hands-on oriented person.
