　　What are my responsibilities?

　　As an Engineer you will be part of the Engineering department. You…

　　Perform day to day maintenance work in hotel rooms, public areas and back of house areas.

　　Calibrate all controls, gauges, meters, etc. Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves.

　　Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies as needed.

　　Maintain inventory and purchase orders log. Inspect tools, equipment, or machines.

　　Enter and locate work-related information using computers. Operate power lift.

　　Manage on-site contractors and any outside maintenance done by contractors.

　　Perform maintenance painting in and outside the hotel.

　　Maintain and renew all different types of wallpaper.

　　To be eligible for this position you…

　　Have excellent communication skills in English and preferably Dutch.

　　Have experience in painting including water based painting.

　　Have a completed LTS / Electro technical study.

　　Have a hospitable personality.

　　Have to be flexible, able to work in different shifts (day, evening, weekend).

A major investment has been made in the hotel which will result in completely renovated guest rooms and public areas, including a brand-new bar, restaurant and rooftop bar & terrace. The hotel will expand from 402 to 500 rooms and an additional conference center will be constructed. The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel has a very high focus on sustainability and will aim to become an enhancement to the city of Amsterdam.
