We are seeking Endpoint Support Specialists for hardware and software to support our customer’s IT operations in Washington, DC.The effort provides command-wide information technology (IT) endpoint hardware, software, mobile, and desktop support on 24/7 managed networks. This Branch researches and tests hardware and software prodcuts for use across the enclave and maintains the base images for deployment. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret Clearance to start, all incumbents will need to gain their Top Secret/SCI.
Endpoint Support Specialist (Hardware/Software) Responsibilities:
Responsible for configuration, setup, networking, preventative maintenance, security, troubleshooting, inventorying, and repair of endpoint technologies, including but not limited to desktop and laptop computers, tablets, smartphones, inkjet and laser printers, e-mail and calendaring, and line-of-business applications.
Analyze and troubleshoot and provide documentation of solutions as well as track all incidents using the incident management system.
Responsible for first and second level support, which includes working with end-users (both on-site and remotely). This can involve in-person, over-the-phone, email, and/or remote desktop support.
May mentor and train junior level support specialists.
Peform administrative support tasks as requested.
Communicate and collaborate with multiple departments and personnel.
Qualifications
Endpoint Support Specialist (Hardware/Software) Level III (1 position) Qualifications:
Minimum of ten(10) years of specialized experience and knowledge of hardware, software, information assurance or business analytical support. Experience must include at least two of the following areas: technical and user documentation, end-user training, network support, information assurance or general administrative support.
Must possess good interpersonal, communications, and analytical skills.
US Citizenship is required.
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret with ability to gain Top Secret/SCI
Certifications: Security
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field and 10 years of related experience.In lieu of a degree, must have 15 years of related experience and a High School Diploma. Endpoint Support Specialist (Hardware/Software) Level II (1 position) Qualifications:
Minimum offive (5) yearsof specialized experience and knowledge of hardware, software, information assurance orbusiness analytical support. Experience must include at least two of the following areas: technical and userdocumentation, end-user training, network support, information assurance or general administrative support.
Must possess good interpersonal, communications, and analytical skills.
US Citizenship is required.
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret with ability to gain Top Secret/SCI

Education: High School Diploma OR GED Endpoint Support Specialist (Hardware/Software) Level I (1 position) Qualifications:
Minimum oftwo (2) yearsof specialized experience and knowledge of hardware, software, information assurance or business analytical support. Experience must include at least two of the following areas: technical and user documentation, end-user training, network support, information assurance or general administrative support.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
