Advanced Medical Transport (AMT) is the premier provider of emergencyand scheduled ambulance services in Central and Western Illinois, aswell as parts of Iowa. AMT is a private, not-for-profit organizationoperated for community benefit.

Our EMTs are responsible for caring for patients in emergency responsesituations, during interfacility transports, and during standby events.EMTs at AMT work 12 hour shifts in the Quad City area with a home basein Milan. Full-time employees will typically work a 36 hour week and a48 hour week each pay period.

Job Duties:

Examine and evaluate patients to determine necessary careProvide patients with emergency care by utilizing appropriatetechniques and equipmentDocument patient information, condition, and treatmentMaintain patient confidentiality and perform all care with respectfor patient rightsTransport patients in accordance with outlined policies andproceduresMaintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment in accordancewith company vehicle check-off sheets and inventory requirements.Operate and drive an ambulance in conjunction with applicable safetypolicies and lawsAssist paramedics in all advanced life support situationsMaintain current certification(s) according to provisions set forthby the governing licensureMaintain a professional appearance and attitude at all timesPresent and promote a positive company image
