　　EMT/Security Guard

　　Guard: carries out detailed instructions and procedures primarilyoriented to ensure that emergencies and security violations are readilydiscovered, and reported to the appropriate authority. Enforcesregulations and procedures designed to prevent breaches of security.Protects property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry; orpersons from hazards and interference. Exercises judgment and usesdiscretion in responding to incidents and emergencies, determiningwhether to intervene directly, keep situation under control orsurveillance, or to report incident or situation to the appropriateauthority for handling. The primary duty is to observe and reportsecurity and emergency situations. Duties require some training andphysical fitness standards.

　　Emergency medical technicians (EMTs) respond to medical emergenciesand deliver patient care, support, and evaluation in a pre-hospitalsetting, like on scene and during transport to the hospital. Thisgenerally includes assessing the patient, determining the properemergency care, and administering treatment. EMTs may also help withtransporting patients safely between hospitals and care facilities.
