　　**$500 sign on bonus ($250 at the completion of first week of training and $250 after successful completion of first 90 days)**Position: Employment & Training Specialist 1 (Human Services) Full Time

　　Location: Mohegan Sun - Uncasville, CT

　　Rate of Pay: $19.55 per hour

　　Hours: 40 Hours per week

　　Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm with flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed

　　Summary:

　　Develops and services employment relationships between clients and community employers, providing access to an array of employment, job training, and educational opportunities. Responsibilities include vocational guidance, job development, job placement, employer education, and customer relations.

　　Qualifications:

　　High School/GED or Hi-SET plus 3 years related experience OR associate degree plus 1-year related experience and/or training. One year supervisory or human service experience desired. Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations.

　　Requirements:

　　Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email, and internet essential. Valid driver’s license, good driving record, use of vehicle with compulsory auto insurance and vehicle registration, and willingness to transport program members in personal and/or agency vehicle. Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, and community organizations.
