Description

　　The Accounting Clerk position is responsible for providing accounting support in the following areas: accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing and various account reconciliations. This role is hybrid.

　　Job Responsibilities

　　process incoming checks and send to bank

　　Process incoming mail

　　Outgoing checks

　　Match backup to printed checks

　　Identify check printing errors

　　Obtain signature

　　Finalize check for mailing

　　Process installment billings and client statements

　　Research suspense items that haven’t cleared

　　Maintain a list of carrier website passwords and login information

　　Requirements

　　Ability to comprehend problems, arrive at solutions and communicate those effectively to other stakeholders (both internally and externally).

　　Independent and self-motivated, holds self-accountable to achieving desired outcomes.

　　Qualifications

　　3+ years of professional experience preferred

　　Good oral and written communication skills

　　Proficient in Microsoft Office

　　Knowledge of accounting rules and regulations preferred

　　Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
