This position is responsible for assisting the participant withemployment and retention by delivering employment services includingassessing barriers to employment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assesses, manage, and maintain a caseload of job ready participants.
Conducts one-on-one job assessment sessions with participants in aneffort to assist them in achieving employment goals.
Advises participants on employment services skills including job searchstrategies, career planning, networking, resume and portfoliodevelopment, and interviewing.
Maintains a strong supportive relationship with employed participantsthrough consistent communication via phone, text, email, mail, socialmedia, and in-person visits.
Coordinates and communicates with ASH Case Manager staff to connectparticipants to needed support and resources services in house or withcommunity partner organization (e.g., transportation, childcare,clothing, work equipment), crisis intervention (prevention, domesticviolence, substance use) or career.
Acts as liaison for participants with internal personnel or externalservice providers, during all phases of placement and retention.
Follows up with client and referral source to ensure successfulcompletion.
Monitors retention of employment placements at the 30, 60, 90 and 180days.
Assesses, maintains and submits accurate, timely and complete casenotes, documentation, and files for founders as well as the agencysinternal reporting systems, regarding clients including: allinteractions, training, supportive services, job search, job placementprograms, termination and follow-up activities; Complies with allreporting guidelines specified by funding agency.
