Position Overview:
Conducts telephonic clinical assessments, establishes treatment plan based on individual needs and readiness, and/or triages for mental and/or behavioral health services. Provides crisis counseling and suicide intervention. Provides management consultation on workplace issues. Facilitates workshops and training for customers and internal staff. May be assigned to work after-hours and on weekend to ensure appropriate staff coverage.
Job Description :
The candidate selected for this role must live a commutable distance from Sacramento and come on site one day a week. The other days the candidate may work from home.
EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Master's: Social Work/Services, Mental Health, Psychology or related field or equivalent education/experience
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
LCSW-Licensed Clinical Social Worker
OR LMFT-Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
DL-California Drivers Class C
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
2 years progressively responsible related clinical experience.
2 years experience providing clinical, mental health and/or behavioral health related counseling.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of the continuum of care in behavioral/mental health.
Broad knowledge of community mental health services and related resources.
Demonstrates , well-honed clinical assessment skills.
Knowledge and skills in a range of intervention techniques, and familiarity with critical incident stress management (CISM) process and/or psychological first aid training.
Knowledge of workforce and workplace issues impacting employees
Organization skills and attention to details.
Ability to communicate through verbal and written means.
Demonstrates telephone interviewing skills, and the ability to build rapport and conduct training.
Ability to interact and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties.
Demonstrates respect for cultural and linguistic differences and promotes an inclusive work environment.
Ability to maintain and work discreetly with confidential and sensitive information.
Ability to use essential applications and/or databases associated with the role’s duties and responsibilities.

Pay Range is $48.37 to $65.30 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled.
