　　We have an exciting opportunity for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our team with the Engineering Division.

　　If selected, you will:

　　Develop a Common Avionics Enabler (CAE) to provide an interface for collecting data for engineering analysis and troubleshooting of Spacesuit problems experienced during on-orbit Extra-Vehicular Activity (EVA) on the International Space Station (ISS)

　　Decompose system requirements into software requirements

　　Develop C/C++ software to provide the required functionality

　　Perform software testing and verification

　　Develop software documentation

　　Participate as software Subject Matter Expert in CAE project meetings

　　Perform other duties as assigned​

　　Here's What You'll Need:

　　Requisition Qualifications:

　　Typically requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering and may be expected to have a related master's or higher degree and normally possess 15+ years of related experience​

　　Strong C/C++ programming skills and experience within the last 2 years

　　Advanced skills in C/C++ programming language

　　Experience with Linux Kernel and Linux device drivers

　　Experience with Linux based embedded Real-time Operating System (RTOS)

　　Experienced/Familiar with TCP/IP network topology and configuration

　　Familiar with Integrated Development Environments (IDE) Eclipse

　　Familiar with common bus protocols (RS-422 and RS-232) ​

　　​Requisition Preferences:

　　Familiar with 1553 MIL-STD Bus Protocol

　　Experience with SoC (System on Chip)

　　Experience with ZYNQ-XILINX Software Development Kit (SDK)

　　Familiar with ZYNQ 7020 ARM Cortex A9 processor

　　Familiar with Xilinx field-programmable gate array (FPGA) ​
