About The OpportunityThe Electro-Mechanical Technician isresponsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing automatedmachinery and computer-controlled mechanical systems. Flexible part-timehours for coverage on 2nd/3rd shift or weekends. Starting pay \$38/hr.Key Duties And Responsibilities Comply with safety procedures and usePersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) while maintaining equipment (LockOut/Tag Out, Arc Flash, etc.), and ensure a safe work environment byeliminating potential equipment safety hazards Test and debug electricalcomponents, PLC, and electronic circuits used for the control ofmachinery and equipment, as well as to design small electrical circuits.Design, install and/or troubleshoot electrical and electro-mechanicalcomponents such as motors, VFD\'s, motion systems, and electricalconnection parts such as relays, termination blocks and sensors.Maintain electrical and mechanical equipment, including disconnectingdevices, conduits, wiring, overload protection devices, powertransmissions, chains, hydraulic/pneumatic/steam systems, vacuum pumps,electrical and mechanical motors. Install, align, dismantle, and movestationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment Performprojects using PC & PLC programming. Coordinate with equipment/servicevendors for technical assistance Use schematics or drawings, installelectrical and electronic controls on machinery and equipment Layout,assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust wire, panels, breakers,conduit, and other electrical fixtures, apparatus, and new services.Maintain documentation and communicate updated documentation to managerand staff Work from sketches or verbal instructions; interpretblueprints.
