About our group: Seagate is searching for Journeyman & Master Electriciansfor our R&D facility in Bloomington, MN. This position will support Seagate's Recording Head Operations 700,000 square foot, highly technical facility building, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. About the role - you will: Must be able to read and perform preventative maintenance, inspection, repair, and installation of Electrical Systems, including pumps and motors. Use and maintain related tools and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. Respond to emergency calls related to spills, leaks, and other hazards. Complete all assigned service requests on a computerized system. Work closely with the Facilities Safety Manager to ensure all safety procedures are followed. Work closely with the Project Managers on department-related projects. Perform miscellaneous department-related duties as assigned, including safety inspections and building grounds work. Available shifts (shift premium on all shifts except M-F 8 hour): B shift. This is a night shift, 6:00pm to 6:00am Mon- Wed and every other Thursday Swing shift, Mon-Thurs, 10 hrs, 12pm-8pm Weekend night shift, Fri-Sun, every other Thursday, 6pm-6am Monday-Friday, 8-hour shift About you: State of Minnesota class "A" Journeymen's License is requiredorState of MinnesotaMaster Electrician Class "A" Licenseis required. At least a 2-year VO-TECH certification or a recognized apprenticeship. 4 to 6 years of industrial and/or commercial experience. Fire Systems Controls Experience. Nicet level 1 would be a plus. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Experience with Microsoft Office Your experience includes: Work from blueprints and floor layouts. Installation of Facilities and Production equipment is part of this position. Knowledge of the National Electrical Code is necessary. Must be able to troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment and machinery in an industrial manufacturing environment. Assist other facility personnel in day-to-day operations. Installation of various raceways, 480v/208v power, VFD, and Fire alarm systems. Work independently with minimal supervision. Work at heights and lift 75 lbs. Be an emergency response team member (ERT). Strong customer service skills. Must have a high level of thoroughness in performing work and a close attention to detail.
