  We have an exciting opportunity for a Electrical Designer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work on various projects for municipal, industrial, and federal clients and will work directly with engineers on 2D and 3D electrical and/or I&C designs for facilities primarily serving the water and wastewater industries.  This is an extraordinary opportunity for a designer to continue to build upon their knowledge and training to develop, do challenging and meaningful work, and protect the earth's resources at the same time. In this role, your responsibilities will include electrical design services to develop design documents using AutoCAD and Revit.  We are looking for candidates who have a proven track record of executing industrial and municipal electrical design work. Primary responsibilities include:Interpretation and markup/update of electrical design plans and specificationsDesign development for facility power, lighting, control system and alarm systemsDesign development for power distribution, motor control systems and schematic developmentAutoCAD drafting and Revit modeling as required supporting staff engineers to develop complete electrical and controls design plans and systemsCollaborating with a national team of technical experts in the electrical, I&C and process automation groupDesired Skills and Experience:Proficient in using AutoCAD and Revit for creating design and construction drawingsTechnical college training in the design and/or construction of electrical systems or degree in electrical engineer is a plusMinimum 2 years of experience as an electrical designer in the municipal water/wastewater and/or private industry preferredSolid understanding of the National Electric Code preferred.Understanding and experience with Process and Instrumentation Control Diagram (P&ID) development in Plant 3D or AutoCAD is a plusSalary Range:Theanticipatedstarting payrange for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and maybemore or lessdependingupon skills, experience,and education.
