We are hiring for experienced Electrical Technician (or experienced Electrician's Mates)!
Job Details:
Build, layout, wire a variety of industrial control panels (stripping wire, crimping lugs, pressure plate terminations, continuity check)
Perform physical modifications of enclosures and interior panels on layout (drill & tap holes, use hole saws, and knockouts, touch-up appearance
Perform repetitive operations such as soldering wore to terminals and plugs, installing relays, wiring, or stuffing circuit boards, components preparation, etc.
Wiring of mechanical equipment where required
Use power tools and hand tools to construct and assemble various structures
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and diagrams to determine project specifications
Measure and mark materials for cutting and shaping using machining tools and calipers
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and according to specifications
Maintain proper inventory levels for stock items
Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
Assist others where needed
Perform any tasks assigned by the Engineering department
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and machining equipment
Ability to read, interpret blueprints, sketches , electrical schematics and diagrams
Experience with electrical work is required
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Strong interpersonal skills
The ability to prioritize and plan tasks and use time efficiently in a dynamic environment while maintaining a pleasant and professional demeanor
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
