  The Musco Mobile Equipment Team is currently seeking an Electrical / Electronic Technician to work from our Oskaloosa office. This position will focus on the building, troubleshooting, repairing, and configuring of lighting equipment and components to ensure safe operation. Packaging, loading and shipping of electrical equipment to meet individual job requirements. Equipment will include, but is not limited to: HMI, LED, MH and Fluorescent lighting that includes equipment from 32 – 6000+W, PLC< DMX, LED Drivers, controllers, DC control systems, generators, and electrical distribution and cable.   What you will do as an Electrical / Electronic Technician:

  Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on Musco's equipment

  Confirm that equipment is safe and ready for use

  Work with Sales to verify, load, and ship the required equipment for each job

  Make sure shipping methods meets DOT, FFA or other applicable shipping regulations

  Check in returning equipment and inspect for any damages

  Timely and accurately complete the required paperwork for each job

  Assist in building new electrical systems and components

  Able to operate generators, hydraulic cranes, electrical distribution and control systems, shop tools, hand tools, forklifts, man lifts, company vehicles, rental cars, computers and iPads

  Ability to read electrical prints and schematics

  Maintain inventory levels and the organized warehousing of equipment and spare parts.

  Act as technical support for technicians

  Limited travel; field work as demand dictates

  What you need to be successful:

  Electrical background with a minimum of 3 years experience

  Two or four year college or Tech school degree preferred

  Experience with control/machine wiring a plus

  Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

  Mechanical aptitude

  Quality work a must

  Basic hand tools required

  Ability to communicate with and maintain customer relations

  Commercial or industrial wiring a plus

  Other special requirements:

  Domestic and possible international travel required. Field work will include longer or odd hours, weekends, holidays and nights.
