  Kyndryl spun off from IBM in November 2021, instantly becoming the largest infrastructure services provider in the world with many of the Fortune 500 already among its clients. But we don’t want to be JUST an infrastructure services provider, we want and need to find innovative ways to do more for those clients. With that in mind, we have been aggressively expanding our consulting ranks in innovative areas like cloud computing, software development, and data. This expanded consulting team will work with new and existing clients to help them achieve more.

  Job Description

  As a Data Scientist for AI you’ll be assigned to a customer or industry (especially Financial Services) facing team helping create solutions for clients. You’ll work with talented data engineers and consulting leaders to not only sift through the data but also to identify the opportunities that our customers may have missed or create their data strategy and roadmap. We are partnered tightly with AWS, Azure, and Google and part of your job will be to understand their latest technology in the Data Science area and how it can impact your customers.

  Responsibilities:

  Always be learning. You’ll be exposed constantly to new business problems, new clients, and new technologies. If you aren’t excited to learn new things, this role isn’t for you.

  Synthesize data to create AI and Analytics models.

  Work on collaborative teams leveraging agile techniques, effective documentation, and clear development practices to create quality models.

  Articulate requirements to data engineering teams and collaborate with stakeholders to creatively obtain the data necessary to provide client value.

  Understand stakeholders to form an understanding of the business problems and potential solutions.

  Communicate with stakeholders on progress and expectations.

  Who You Are

  Required Experience:

  An Entrepreneurial Attitude. We are just beginning to grow our Data and AI offerings, you should be ready to do whatever is necessary to make our team stronger.

  BS, MS, or PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  An understanding of Python and the libraries required for data science (Pandas, PyTorch, etc…)

  A collaborative, agile mindset.

  Experience with at least one of Google, AWS, or Azure’s AI and Data Science offerings.

  Preferred Experience:

  One of Kyndryl’s key focus areas is on AI for our Financial Services Clients, experience building models or working with data from banking, insurance, or investment companies is a big plus.

  Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP)

  Experience with Large Language Models (LLM)

  Deep experience with the data science offerings of multiple hyperscalers.

  Experience with R and other non-Python Data Science languages

  If you are hired, the anticipated compensation range for the position $81,960.00 to $171,240.00 is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.
