The Engineer in Training will work under the supervision of the Facilities MatSu Region Lead, and you will collaborate with team members to support innovative solutions to diverse electrical challenges around Alaska. Our Facilities team works on diverse projects from inception through planning, design, and support of construction efforts for public and private sector clients.

The Electrical EIT will collaborate with Electrical engineers and staff in supporting professional work products including power, lighting, signal, security, communications and utility infrastructure planning, design, and construction administration.

Provides broad support to the RESPEC Alaska-based engineering teamAssists staff with engineering calculations and reportsAssists team in developing design documentsConducts support functions as needed, such as data entry and file management*Minimum Qualifications: *
B.S. Electrical EngineeringPassed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam or the ability to obtain in one yearMicrosoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel)Self-motivatedDetail and team orientedStrong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skillsStrong written and oral communication skills and strong research and analytical skillsMotivated and positive self-starter able to work independently and in a teamFlexibility and desire to gain experience on a wide variety of planning projectsValid Alaska drivers licenseUS work authorization is requiredDesired but not required:
2+ years of related experience
Design of Electrical Plans and Specifications a plus
