OurEnergy Technology Team in Waukesha has an exciting opportunity for aseasoned Electrical Technician. This person will be responsible forplanning and execution of electrical and reliability tests on our CleanEnergy products. These products include inverters, battery storagesystems, load management modules and other IoT devices Essential Dutiesand Responsibilities: Design and construct test fixtures, wire andinstall test equipment, and perform advanced electrical tests. Plan,execute and maintain long term reliability test setup, includingenvironmental chambers, power moving equipment in addition to the unitsunder test. Troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root cause,and collaborate on the development of design solutions. Install varioussensors, probes, and data acquisition systems. Operate oscilloscopes,data acquisition systems, power supplies, and other electronic equipmentFormally document Test Plans, Test Procedures, Test Reports, and anytechnical issues. Collaborate with Engineers for planning of testingrequirements and test procedures. Maintain test-related documentation indatabase environment. Analyze test data and prepare formal and informaltest reports. Update and develop policies and procedures supporting thecontinuous improvement of the Engineering Lab. Facilitate the labeling,tracking, and calibration of test equipment Actively participate withfellow Lab team members in daily maintenance of Lab environment andpreventive maintenance of Lab equipment. Forecast future equipment, andbudgetary needs. Coach, inspire and motive and develop less experiencedtechnicians in the team. Ensure team members have received appropriatesafety training and always operate in a safe manner. MinimalQualifications: Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering orequivalent. 5+ years of engineering experience in anelectrical/electronics lab environment. Experience working with complexelectronic devices. Experience working with data acquisition systems,oscilloscopes, and DC power supplies. Expert level Understanding andexperience with various wiring methods and guidelines. Experiencedocumenting test results and writing clear and concise test reports.Excellent communication skills. Self-driven, highly motivated, flexible,and highly motivated to learn. Preferred Qualifications: Experienceworking with high voltage systems (500V DC and 480V AC). Ability tooperate and troubleshoot complex components and systems. (Inverter,Li-ion battery modules, PV links, Transfer switches).
