We are currently seeking a full-time Electrical EngineeringManager responsible for directing and managing the ElectricalEngineering functions at LDV. Job responsibilities include: Managedepartment budget to plan for development and ongoing engineeringfunctions. Analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetaryrequirements. Recommend budget, expenditures, and appropriations forresearch and development work as it pertains to Engineering and Design.Maintain our information database/web interface and keep it current withdesign, installation, and service instructions as the company expands.Lead product research, development, and innovation based on our customerneeds, as well as updates with new technologies. Support the SalesDepartments as new product designs are sold. Support Sales generatedrequests/designs. Evaluation of new equipment models in regard totechniques, strategies, and layout for production and service. Evaluateand recommend ways to reduce/remove cost, weight, and production timefrom beginning to the final end product. Act as liaison betweenEngineering and other business units. Provide technical engineeringadvice and counsel to Management, Marketing, Sales, and Operations.Provide support for Service and customers for post-sale vehicleoperation and maintenance. Recommend methods to utilize technology inLDV daily operations.
