JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for 2 Co-ops/Interns for Summer 2024who can work full-time, a combination of remote and onsite, withemployment starting in May/June. As anElectrical EngineeringCo-op/Intern, support the Electrical Engineering team by performingtestsanddesign changes. Requirements: *Upholds Andis Core Values ofExcellence, Integrity, and Respect in all work-related activities.*Product Testing Including but not limited to: Voltage, Current,temperature, etc. *Motor Testing Speed, Torque, Power, Efficiency, etc.*Lithium-Ion Battery Testing *PCB Functionality Testing *ComponentTesting FETs, BJTs, Microcontrollers, Charge Controllers, etc.*Programming Microcontrollers using C programming language or similar.*Electronics innovation utilizing development boards. *Investigatingfield failures and determining root cause of failure down to componentlevel. *Developing test reports that clearly highlight test results.*Competitor product teardown and investigation. *Process writtenEngineering Change Requests. Engineering change requests includingvarious 2D drafting work using Electrical CAD, AutoCAD, bill of materialchanges and the writing of an Engineering Change Notice. This work isbeing done under close direction from a designer or engineer. *Utilizesknowledge of engineering practices, mathematics, and other physicalsciences to create or change 2D drawings using Electrical CAD, and orAutoCAD. *Have the ability to make small design changes to 3D modelspreviously created using the Solid Works program is a plus. *****OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements: *Must be enrolled inan accredited technical school studying toward an associate/bachelor\'sdegree in Electrical/ Electronic or Equivalent Engineering degreeprogram. Must have and maintain a minimum G.P.A. of 2.75/4.0.*Proficient in MS Office, preferably Word, Power point and Excel.Experience with Circuit and PCB design software is a plus (ExampleKiCad, Eagle, Altium, etc.). Experience with circuit simulation softwareis a plus (Example LTSpice, Multisim, etc.) Experience with AutoCAD andSolidworks is a plus. *Ability to read and interpret general businessperiodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, orgovernmental regulations. Ability to write Engineering Change Noticesand business correspondence. Ability to effectively present informationand respond to questions from Engineers, Designers and Peers. *Abilityto work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statisticalinference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry andtrigonometry.
