　　Job Description

　　AECOM India is seeking to hire an Electrical Engineer for our Jaipur Office. The responsibilities, required experience and qualification are summarized below:

　　Position Title: Electrical Engineer (Transmission & Distribution)

　　Key Responsibilities:

　　System Design and Planning:

　　Design and plan electrical transmission and distribution systems to ensure efficient and reliable power delivery.

　　Analyze load requirements and determine the optimal configuration of power lines and substations.

　　Equipment Specification and Selection:

　　Specify and select electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and circuit breakers.

　　Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in equipment selection.

　　Project Coordination:

　　Coordinate transmission and distribution projects from conception to completion.

　　Develop project schedules, budgets, and oversee the execution of engineering tasks.

　　Substation Design:

　　Design and upgrade electrical substations, including layout, equipment selection, and protection schemes.

　　Evaluate and implement technologies for substation automation and control.

　　Power System Analysis:

　　Conduct power system studies, including load flow analysis, short-circuit analysis, and voltage drop analysis.

　　Recommend solutions to optimize the performance and reliability of the electrical grid.

　　Reliability and Maintenance:

　　Develop and implement maintenance programs for transmission and distribution assets.

　　Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure the reliability and availability of the power system.

　　Safety and Compliance:

　　Ensure that all electrical systems comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

　　Conduct safety assessments and implement measures to mitigate risks.

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

　　Professional Engineer (PE) license may be required.

　　Knowledge of power systems, electrical equipment, and industry standards.

　　Proficiency in engineering software for power system analysis and design.

　　Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

　　Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

　　Additional Information

　　This role requires 5 to 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on transmission and distribution projects.
