　　Description

　　Astronics Advanced Electrical Systems is seeking a Sr. Electrical Test Engineer to join our cohesive and collaborative Operations Test Engineering Team in Kirkland, WA .

　　POSITION SUMMARY

　　The Sr. Electrical Test Engineer will successfully produce robust test equipment, plans, and procedures that meet the needs of AES production.

　　DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Design test interface fixtures used with complex test equipment systems. Devices under test have varied and complex interface protocols.

　　Develop test specifications based on product equipment specifications, working collaboratively with others on the product development team.

　　May act as Test Engineering Project Lead for the development of test equipment for new products.

　　Develop test validation strategy for complicated products.

　　May develop software for embedded controller as part of a larger test system.

　　MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

　　Education/Experience :

　　Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.

　　Demonstrates proficiency (typically 8+ years of direct experience in the duties and responsibilities of the position)

　　Competencies :

　　Technical Skills :

　　C# programming – able to write and review code with enough fluency to develop and debug test procedures.

　　Design and simulate complex digital and analog electrical circuits for a broad range of test applications.

　　EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

　　As a US Department of Defense Contractor, Astronics is bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Must be a US Person under ITAR to be eligible.

　　Sr. Electrical Test Engineer Base Salary Range is $102,687 - $154,031 per year.
