Role Summary: Thisposition is responsible for a wide range of electrical and computercontrol duties involving the design, installation, troubleshooting andmaintenance of the electrical and computer control systems ofproduction, the shop, and extrusion. Top priority and the primaryemphasis are designing and implementing machine control systems andautomation / robotics / agv programming for industrial productionmachinery. The Electrical Engineer Controls Engineer must be willing todevote whatever effort is necessary to keeping production machineryoperational. This position works closely with production and engineeringteam members in the design, improvement, and maintenance of electricalcontrol systems. This position also collaborates with the ElectricalEngineering Software Engineers for any software solutions needed fortheir projects. Analyze, and develop processes for proposed technicalsolutions for continual improvement. Ensure documentation of functionalrequirements and continuous improvements to existing processes Meet andsupport production needs via technical solutions Troubleshoot andresolve issues in a timely manner Analyze, track, and remediate rootcauses of problems, and determine preventative solutions. Participate inthe design of any integration related to production or business needs.Educational Requirements This position requires a bachelor degree inelectrical engineering or closely related field.
