Alaant Workforce Solutions is recruiting an Electrical Engineer for our client’s growing manufacturing team in Latham, NY.

　　In this position, you will play a critical part in leading electronic product development, research, prototype, DFM, and production testing. This role is responsible for new product development as well as product sustenance for manufacturing.

　　Hours and Benefits for the Electrical Engineer:

　　Monday – Friday, regular business hours

　　Salary range of $80,000 - $100,000

　　Responsibilities for the Electrical Engineer:

　　Work on new product development with product sustenance for manufacturing.

　　Design analog, digital, power and charging circuits.

　　Create and manage BOMs, to reproduce the design on the manufacturing floor.

　　Author module requirements, test protocols and test reports.

　　Create and maintain work instructions for design transfer to manufacturing.

　　Requirements for the Electrical Engineer:

　　Master’s degree preferred.

　　5+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.

　　Experience with microcontroller-based board design and mixed signal I/O.

　　Proficient in Altium schematic capture and board layout.

　　Experience using revision control software with Altium.

　　Experience with vendor interfacing, maintenance, management and dealing with CMOs.

　　Experience working in lab or experimental environment.

　　Experience using test instruments, oscilloscopes, signal generators, DMM’s, and network analyzers.

　　Must have experience working on systems spanning DC to 50 MHz.

　　Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

　　Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently.

　　Must be a US Citizen or Green Cardholder.
