Principle Responsibilities:Provide engineering services to maintenance and operating departmentpersonnel as required to resolve maintenance, technical, and equipmentreliability issues. Establish and maintain safe work practices and safework environment for coworkers and employees. Be sure that mill rulesare enforced and that company policies are followed. Supervise mill andcontract employees as required Insure that equipment files and databaseare maintained properly and understand equipment operation and functionas required to determine preventive and predictive maintenance needs.Develop preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance procedures asrequired to insure equipment availability. Work with peers toeffectively maintain equipment to achieve uptime goals as set by thedepartment. Prepare scope and cost estimate for assigned projects.Develop an engineering, procurement and construction strategy for eachproject. Design and implement approved projects. Monitor and controlproject scope, schedule and cost. Manage project construction.Coordinate project commissioning and start-up. Communicate projectstatus to operation and maintenance. Provide technical assistance tooperations and maintenance to identify and solve routine problems. Otherduties assigned by Engineering Manager. Basic Qualifications: BS Degreein Electrical Engineering is required. Excellent organizational skills,including attention to detail and follow up skills. Demonstrated skillsin setting priorities and delegating, analytical problem solving, andfacilitating in a team environment. Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills required.
