Description:

　　A Rockwell Automation Recognized System Integrator is seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to join our expanding business. We are seeking an individual who has experience designing and integrating industrial automation solutions for industry.

　　We focus on serving a variety of customer including food processing, water/wastewater, mechanized machinery, and drive and drive systems. The Controls Engineer would have the unique opportunity to apply industrial automation over a range of industries.

　　Job duties:

　　Work closely with customers to design custom control solutions for industrial machinery and process equipment.

　　Lead execution of assigned projects

　　Write PLC programs

　　Develop HMI screens and SCADA solutions

　　Factory system test prior to shipment

　　Develop circuit diagrams using AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical

　　Select hardware and create BOM (bill of materials)

　　Design panel layout of hardware components

　　Travel to site for inspection and system commissioning

　　Develop and improve upon engineering standards

　　Work independently and in project groups

　　Travel domestically and internationally

　　Project Quotations and occasional customer sales calls

　　Skills:

　　Plc programming, Allen Bradley, electrical design, HMI, motor control, SCADA, automation, Autocad electrical, control design, VFDs, BOM, panel layout

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Minimum three years’ experience with the following:

　　Able to program Rockwell and Siemens PLC’s, Operator Interfaces, and SCADA systems

　　Proficient with, Variable Frequency Drive Systems and/or motor control applications

　　Proficient with AutoCAD or AutoCAD electrical (Optional)

　　Familiar with machine control design

　　Written and oral communication skills
