  Job Description

  AECOM is seeking an Electrical Engineer to be based in New York, NY. Will operate as an electrical engineer working directly with the NYC SCA on projects related to schools throughout New York City and the surrounding boroughs.

  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.

  Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.

  Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.

  Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.

  identifies discrepancies in results.

  Provides guidance to entry-level engineers.

  Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.

  Qualifications

  Minimum Requirements:

  BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

  Baccalaureate degree in engineering/electrical engineering or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education is required.

  Must have new PE license

  Due to the nature of the job, U.S. citizenship is required.

  Relocation is not availableOffered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $76,000 - $115,000.
