Super Color Digital is a leading provider of visual communication solutions, specializing in large-format printing, digital displays, and LED signage. We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team in Irvine, CA. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and management of electrical systems for digital displays and LED signage. You will also be responsible for leading and managing an electrical team in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities: Design and develop electrical systems for digital displays and LED signage, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Conduct research and stay updated on emerging technologies in the field of digital displays and LED signage. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and project management, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into overall product design. Lead and manage an electrical team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work and efficient project execution. Oversee the testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions. Develop and maintain documentation, including electrical schematics, technical specifications, and test procedures. Work closely with customers to understand their specific requirements and provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle. Stay updated on relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to digital displays and LED signage. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to evaluate and select appropriate components and materials for electrical systems. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations during the design, manufacturing, and installation of electrical systems. Requirements:   Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus. Proven experience (3 years) in designing and developing electrical systems for digital displays and LED signage. Strong knowledge of DMX programming of RGBW and familiarity with lighting control protocols and standards. Experience in managing an electrical team in a production environment is highly desirable. Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD), Nova Star. Solid understanding of electrical components, circuit design, and power distribution systems. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as UL, NEC, and CE. With the ability to manage site inspections and all documentation. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and practices in the signage or display industry is a plus.
