The Electrical Engineer - Level 1 is responsible for performingbasic electrical power, lighting, and low voltage system engineeringtasks for electrical construction projects, under the direct supervisionof an upper level Engineer, Senior Electrical Designer, or EngineeringTeam Leader as assigned by the Corporate Engineering Manager. The idealcandidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft OfficeSuite, AutoCAD knowledge is required, knowledge of electricalterminology and symbols is required. Knowledge of AutoCAD-Electrical isa plus. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelors Degree in ElectricalEngineering or Education: Bachelors Degree in ArchitecturalEngineering - Electrical or Education: Associate Degree in ElectricalTechnology Experience: 4 years of progressive electrical engineeringrelated Travel: Work Schedule: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Prepares andstudies technical drawings, and electrical specifications to ensure thatinstallations and designs conform to standards and customerrequirements. * Conducts field surveys and studies diagram and otherdata to identify and correct power system problems. * Operatescomputer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment toperform engineering tasks. * Performs detailed calculations to computeand establish construction standards and specifications, with directionfrom an upper-level Engineer. * Plans layout of electrical constructionprojects with direction from an upper level Engineer. * Performs otherrelated duties as required and assigned.
